artist’s statement

‘Words once spoken are lost to the air, yet the physicality of graffiti allows it to remain briefly before the words of others interlace and distort its meaning, as it integrates into the complex anthology of a collective voice.’ – Amber-rose Hulme

Amber-rose Hulme is a Melbourne based pastel artist. Currently, Amber-rose’s artistic focus is the interaction between the decaying nature of the urban landscape and architecture, and the overlaid conversations of street art, and of street artists.
